Location

Motril is a Spanish city and municipality located in the south-central part of the Costa Granadina region, in the province of Granada, autonomous community of Andalusia. On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, this municipality borders the municipalities of Salobreña, Vélez de Benaudalla, Lújar, Gualchos-Castell de Ferro and Torrenueva Costa.
